Meet The Team
Principal GP at Tarbert Medical for the past 30 years providing a comprehensive medical service to patients in North Kerry and West Limerick. A graduate of University College Cork with a special interest in Dermatology and Minor Surgery. Clinical Supervisor for Medical Students University of Limerick and University College Cork.
Dr Ayo Abioye joined Tarbert Medical Centre in October 2022 . She graduated from Medical University of Lodz, Poland in 2012 and has been working in Ireland since. Dr Ayo is passionate about patient care and delivering the highest quality of care to all patients. She is extremely dedicated, hardworking and a valuable member of the team here in Tarbert. Dr Ayo has a special interest in paediatrics and geriatrics. She also has experience in and spent a a number of years as an Endocrinology registrar in St Michaels in Dublin.
My name is Siobhan Ardener and I am from Killarney, Co. Kerry. I have worked here at the practice since 2019 as a full-time medical secretary/receptionist. I have recently taken on the new role as Practice Manager my commitment is to ensure a continued service of quality care to our patients.
Dr Fakhar Sadat joined Tarbert Medical in July 2024. Dr Sadat graduated from Wah Medical College in Punjab in 2009 and is originally from Pakistan. He has a special interest in Orthopaedics, spending 11 years in acute trauma and hospital settings and a following 4 years of General Practice experience between Ireland and Pakistan.
He is committed and passionate about providing care to and supporting patients within the community of Tarbert and beyond.
Dr Barbara Kromer joined Tarbert Medical Centre in February 2022 . She graduated from University of Bialystok Poland in 2005 and has been working in Ireland since 2009. Dr Kromer spent a number of years in Galway University Hospital as a Paediatric Registrar. Dr Barbara has a special interest in Paediatrics and particularly Women’s Health and Menopause. “I am passionate about working with women and delivering an individualized, evidence-based approach to managing their health and symptoms through menopause and further.
My name is Mary Connolly and I am from Foynes, Co. Limerick. I have worked here at the practice since 1999 as a part time Practice Nurse providing a full range of general practice services.
A Practice Nurse with many years experience in Practice Nursing at Tarbert Medical Centre.
Maria has many years’ experience in acute hospital settings. She transferred to GP practice Nursing in 2023 and became a certified cervical smear taker in 2024. Maria embraced the change to practice nursing and her warm personality is a comfort to all patients. Maria has a keen interest in Women’s Health as well as childhood Immunisations.
Claire Lynch joined Tarbert Medical in Winter of 2024. She is an extremely hard working professional team member who has also embraced the change into General Practice Administration

Eimear Joined YMS Tarbert Medical in November 2023. Eimear has experience working in customer service and administration for over 5 years. Eimear is committed to making patients feel comfortable, welcomed and at ease from the moment they walk through the door of our clinic
